Entrepreneurship Educators Association Hackathon

After a month of intense preparation and stress, I'm proud to share that my team, Piyutech, secured 3rd place out of 6 teams at the ENEDA Hackathon, held on September 14, 2024, at Miriam College, Quezon City! A special shoutout to my incredible teammates Mc Henry Sarcia, Sean Russell Villeza, Jermaine Falcutila, and Kenchie Baylon for their unwavering commitment. Together, we developed 'EcoSiklo,' a circular economy solution that transforms fabric scraps into essential pet products—combining sustainability with innovation. We're also deeply thankful to Ms. Margarita Caparas and Dr. Luis Sison from UPSCALE Innovation Hub for their rigorous consultations, grilling us to ensure our pitch and our product were pitch-perfect. As a freshman, this achievement marks the beginning of an exciting journey in tech and sustainability for me. It's a powerful reminder that even at the early stages of our careers, we have the ability to create meaningful change. I'm looking forward to leveraging this experience to further my skills, collaborate on innovative solutions, and contribute to a more sustainable future.September 14, 2024Miriam College, Quezon City
